Karine Guégan has been making cardboard boxes for over 20 years: a demanding but fascinating activity! Whether they're visual poetry boxes, sewing boxes, boxes for everything, round, rectangular square, heart-shaped, scalloped or other fanciful designs, they all have character! When it comes to cardmaking, you're usually already doing embroidery, which you can combine with the boxes and the choice of fabrics. With the exception of a few models, most of the boxes are taken from the technical data sheets of her friend Hélène Chireux-Chalendard, the high priestess of cardboard. Karine Guégan gives cardboard-making lessons for beginners only, and teaches them how to cut cardboard, as well as the various techniques for assembling walls, hinges, lids, and so on. She also offers cardboard discovery courses. Free admission during opening hours.
