SÉANCE CINÉMA "JUSTIN LE JUSTE"

Wednesday 4 November, 3.30 pm Film screening – JUSTIN THE JUST Suitable for all ages 1915. War is an unknown land to which Justin, a poor peasant, is sent, at a time when he ought to be tending his fields. He must go off to fight, in the name of a law he knows nothing about, against an enemy he has never seen, when all he dreams of is staying on his farm. His encounter with Basile, a Senegalese infantryman, will open his eyes to this war he does not understand. It is alongside him that he will rebel against the injustices of an absurd chain of command, and become a hero unlike any other. Inspired by *Justin-le-Juste* and *La charrette* by Jean Pompougnac.
