Monique Fradier currently devotes a large part of her time to personal creation, focusing on drawing, calligraphy, watercolour, engraving and modelling. At the heart of her interests is nature, encompassing plants, animals and humans, and the interrelationships that weave themselves with the sensitive, mysterious part that unites living things. A graduate in illustration from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Monique Fradier worked as a graphic designer in a communications agency before setting up her own business. While continuing to master the new tools of computer graphics, Monique Fradier has continued to train and practise with the traditional mediums of graphic and plastic design. The need to share her research has led her to offer plastic arts workshops, and to work on artistic projects and in a variety of settings, including galleries, media libraries and socio-educational associations.
