National Week for Pensioners and Older People, 10 October 2026.
Under the theme ‘Let’s bring all ages together in committed communities!’, this year’s event will feature a range of activities designed to encourage interaction, discovery and sharing between generations, with the aim of combating isolation.
Monday 5 October at 3.00 pm – Rambla
Opening of the ‘Semaine Bleue’ with a presentation of the programme, a coffee and tea stand, and small welcome gifts.
Tuesday 6 October at 3.00 pm – Carrer del Molí Vell
Nature walk to discover local biodiversity with Natur’Ailes 66.
Meet at the Jardin des enfants.
Wednesday 7 October at 3.00 pm – Setting off from the Rambla
Walking tour and treasure hunt in the town centre, in partnership with the Maison de l’Eau et de la Méditerranée, the Espace Max Havart, the Médiathèque and the local council.
The activity will be followed by a snack at the Town Hall.
Thursday 8 October – Le Boulou Market, 9.00 am–12.00 pm
Brioches on sale in partnership with UNAPEI 66. Proceeds will go towards the development of the Pôle Enfance.
Saturday 10 October at 3.00 pm – Carrer del Molí Vell
A walk along the banks of the Tech, organised with Tram’66 and the FEE, to explore our own health, as well as that of the river and its inhabitants.
The walk will be supported by the NATAPH association to ensure people with reduced mobility can take part.
Meet at the Xerophytic Garden.
