The audience had been clamouring for her, and now she’s back. Having literally thrilled the audience during her performance last May, the artist Pyrène Pelayo-Domingo returns to enchant Vivès.
On her first visit, she worked her magic instantly. Captivated by her talent and sensitivity, the audience had warmly expressed their wish to see her again for the village festival. This wish has been granted, promising another spellbinding evening in the intimate setting of Vivès church, with its unique acoustics.
For this performance, Pyrène Pelayo-Domingo has put together a rich and varied programme, alternating between vocal pieces and instrumental works. Music lovers will have the pleasure of travelling through the ages thanks to the repertoires of the great masters of classical and baroque music: Bach, Vivaldi, Satie, Purcell, Chopin and Massenet.
Alongside these great classics, the artist will reveal her own artistic sensibility through several original compositions. The highlight of the evening will undoubtedly be her rendition of ‘La nina encantada’, a traditional Catalan song reimagined in a unique version, characteristic of Pyrène Pelayo-Domingo, which is sure to strike a chord with the local audience.
