These new hiking sheets are offered to you by the Vallespir Community of Municipalities. The selected routes are the most representative of our region. Depending on your walking ability, you can choose from several trails. Nature lovers and history enthusiasts will be delighted. The paths you follow will lead you to discover a rich and diverse environment with multiple points of interest: varied flora and fauna depending on the area, historical heritage such as Romanesque chapels, bridges, ice wells, dolmens… and landscapes that change with the seasons. Thanks to the mild climate, hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding are possible all year round. Other activities can also be enjoyed, such as river and lake fishing.

The “Pirinexus” loop, over 350 km long, crosses our department via the Vallespir Greenway Cycle Route. Immerse yourself in a unique adventure, between mountains and valleys, discovering the treasures of Catalonia.
Whether you are an experienced cyclist looking for challenges or an enthusiastic beginner, the famous EuroVelo 8 will charm you with its 850 km of cycle paths. Passing through the Vallespir Greenway Cycle Route, it will allow you to explore the magnificent landscapes along the coast, from Menton to Le Perthus.
