Heidi lives with her grandfather in a chalet in the mountains. But everything changes when she finds an injured baby lynx and decides to nurse it back to health. The young animal desperately needs to be reunited with his family in the mountains! Unbeknownst to its grandfather, Heidi and Peter decide to rescue their new companion. Things get complicated when a greedy businessman, Schnaittinger, wants to build a large sawmill in the mountains and sets traps for the lynx. Now it's time to protect not only the lynx and his family, but also the village and the nature they love so much!
