The NATURA DELICIOSA ASSOCIATION offers walks and workshops to gather wild plants. Their activities teach you to identify edible plants, distinguish them from poisonous species and cook them in a healthy and tasty way. The association emphasises botanical recognition, respect for the environment, safety rules and the nutritional benefits of these plants.

Wild gathering is a rewarding activity, but one that requires caution. To do so safely, it's vital to learn how to recognise edible plants and differentiate them from their toxic counterparts using botany and scientific classification.

Good picking is also responsible picking: it must be done with respect for nature, leaving enough plants to reproduce and avoiding polluted areas. It is also essential to take into account the risks of parasites and to wash your harvest thoroughly.

Wild plants are treasures of micro-nutrition, richer in vitamins and minerals than cultivated plants. Learning to cook them allows you to create healthy, original and delicious dishes.

By taking part in a wild-gathering walk, you'll acquire the knowledge you need to incorporate these treasures of nature into your diet, for a healthier, more environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
