Le Printemps des Poètes is a nationwide event that aims to bring poetry to life and make it accessible by moving beyond traditional venues and into more unexpected places. The event enables poetry to reach a wide audience, to resonate with multiple voices and to create a real dynamic of cultural sharing.

For this year's event, the Musée d'Art Moderne is renewing its collaboration with Cie Pas de Porte de Céret, and will be delighted to present Hortense Raynal and Eduard Escoffet in the museum auditorium.

Saturday 22 March at 4pm, reading by Hortense Raynal, poet.

She says: "There's a bit of a paradox here, in that poetry came to me without words, really in things, in fact, in reality, in the dialogue I had very early on, at a very young age, with life and living things. [...] I prefer to dialogue with it than to talk about the world". For her, poetry twists syntax by adding the bizarre to language.

Saturday 29 March at 4pm, reading by Eduard Escoffet

Poet and sound artist Eduard Escoffet has presented his work at international festivals. He has published books of poetry such as Gaire and El terra i el cel, and his film Cos endins won the Goethe Prize at the Zebra Poetry Film Festival. In January 2025, Eduard Escoffet was appointed Director of the Institut des Lettres Catalanes in Barcelona.

Admission free. Access to the auditorium only. Capacity limited to 70 people. No reservations required.
