The exhibition takes visitors on a historical journey through Catalonia's educational boom in the first decades of the 20th century, which was abruptly interrupted by Franco's dictatorship. The contents include the work of the teacher Josep Maria Andreu, the "Festival of the Tree" celebrations, the construction of new school buildings and the experiences of rural schools. There is also a section devoted to the unique anarchist school of Can Cerdà de Ribesaltes and, in particular, to the memory of teachers from Ripollès who were repressed or exiled, such as Josep Bassaganya, Xavier Casademunt, Adela Garriga and Maria Baró.
