The history of the estate
The history of David Borrat's family has been intimately linked to the terroir of the Bellevue-Saint Georges estate for four generations. His father, grandfather and great-grandfather worked happily on these generous vines, ideally situated at the foot of the green foothills of Vallespir, in a fertile, unspoilt valley.
When he was recently given the opportunity to buy this estate, whose origins date back to the middle of the 19th century, David didn't hesitate for a second, out of a passion for wine and to perpetuate the family memory.
He threw himself wholeheartedly into this adventure to bring out the best in these sun-drenched soils and highlight the distinctive character of a terroir rich in history.
